We want every family to be able to run their household with Rooots Personal, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time checkbox.
Our approach
- We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical target across the app.
- We build with semantic HTML, keyboard-operable controls, labeled form fields, and sufficient color contrast, and we test as we ship.
What we support
- Keyboard navigation for core flows.
- Screen-reader-friendly labels on interactive elements.
- Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Respect for your device’s text-size and reduced-motion preferences where possible.
Known limitations
- Some newer features and third-party components (such as the payment portal) may not yet fully meet our target. We’re actively working to close gaps.
